Aaa Carpet Is This Normal For Home Insurance?

I AAA home insurance in California and yesterday we had an incident involving a squirrel and our lines of sprinkler fire extinguishing system. AAA says that only for the damages (carpet, drywall, moisture, food, etc.) squirrels through the lines, but not the cost of repairing the lines. Is this standard for all home insurance, or just have a policy of shit?
